The Philippines is geared to a full-throttle for the country’s tourism industry recovery. Starting April 1, there will be no limit to the number of international passengers arriving in all ports of entry in the country. Philippine embassies and consulates will likewise resume visa issuances from the same date.
Furthermore, in place of the initial requirement of an RT-PCR test taken 48-hours prior to departure from point of origin, as an alternate option Philippines is now allowing submission of a negative laboratory-based antigen test taken within 24 hours from departure.
The updated resolutions also allow the entry of passport holders from Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR for a period not exceeding 14 days. And approves the reciprocal recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates from Croatia, Cyprus, and Nepal which are among of the 157 countries whose citizens can enter the Philippines without a visa under EO 408.
Philippines is enthusiastic to welcome more foreign visitors and works on further easing border restrictions to prove that it’s more fun and easier to visit our country.
