Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled plans for a new class of
ultra-luxury ships, with the first vessel named Seven Seas Prestige set
to launch in 2026. This marks the cruise line’s first new ship class in a
decade, following its Explorer-Class ships introduced between 2016 and
2023.
The 77,000-tonne Seven Seas Prestige will accommodate up to 850
guests, boasting one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the cruise
industry. A second Prestige-Class ship is slated for delivery in 2029.
“Seven Seas Prestige, debuting in 2026, continues our legacy of
revolutionizing ultra luxury travel as she will transcend luxury in
every way,” said Andrea DeMarco, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
“This incredible new ship will be the epitome of timeless elegance,
exemplifying Regent’s commitment to excellence which is reflected in
every aspect of her elevated design and exuding an ambiance of
sophistication and refinement.”
The new ship class will introduce new accommodation categories,
including a redesigned Regent Suite, and new dining experiences. Details
of these features will be revealed at a later date.
Seven Seas Prestige will maintain Regent’s all-inclusive luxury
experience, offering gourmet cuisine in specialty restaurants, fine
wines and spirits, entertainment, unlimited internet access, valet
laundry service, gratuities, and pre-cruise hotel packages for guests in
Concierge-level suites and higher.
With the addition of Seven Seas Prestige, Regent’s fleet will
comprise seven ships, exploring over 550 destinations globally. The
cruise line emphasises its commitment to providing “Unrivalled Space at
Sea” and maintaining its position as “The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet.”
