1. San Diego, California

If you’re looking to enjoy big-city amenities with a slightly slower-paced feel than other large cities such as New York and Los Angeles, as well as take in some ocean views, consider heading down to San Diego, California. One of the southernmost cities in the United States, San Diego offers mild winters and sunny summers. You can look forward to exploring a wide range of beaches, from the luxurious white sands of Coronado Beach to the tide pools near La Jolla Shores. You’ll also have plenty of options when it comes to the kind of stay you’re looking for. If you enjoy the big city feel, consider staying in the downtown San Diego area. Those looking for a slightly more relaxed feel may enjoy Coronado Island or La Jolla.

2. Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts
