Fiji Airways, the national airline of Fiji, has revealed plans to integrate into the acclaimed American Airlines AAdvantage® travel rewards program next year. This partnership promises extensive perks for members, including opportunities to earn and redeem rewards across both airlines.
The collaboration ensures AAdvantage® members a smooth journey with Fiji Airways, offering Elite members exclusive privileges like expedited check-in, priority boarding, complimentary baggage allowances, preferred seating options, and enhanced options for redeeming awards.
“This loyalty partnership marks a significant milestone, bringing together two renowned carriers to offer new benefits to millions of travelers,” said Fiji Airways Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Andre Viljoen. “We are excited about the positive impact this collaboration will have on both our airlines and our guests who will benefit from the exclusive perks.”
Since its inception in 1981, AAdvantage® stands as the longest-standing travel loyalty program globally, originally designed to recognize frequent flyers. Today, AAdvantage® has evolved beyond a mere frequent flyer initiative into a comprehensive travel rewards program, offering members unparalleled access to diverse experiences. It boasts extensive avenues for earning and utilizing miles, along with an array of rewards and exclusive status benefits.
